Memoranda of understanding

Memoranda of understanding define the frameworks, expectations, terms and conditions of a strategic relationship between two parties.  They are not legally binding agreements, but they support the development of collaborative working relationships and incorporate high level principles governing that relationship.   Memoranda are generally supported by other more detailed agreements, for example information sharing agreements or protocols in relation to specific areas of work.
