Core standards mapping

The Core Standards Mapping tool shows where Concordat signatory bodies activities maps against the Core Standards used by the Healthcare Commission in their annual health check of NHS organisations. The Concordat Practice 4.1 states that “…Inspecting bodies seek ways of aligning their approaches where to do so is consistent with the effective discharge of their functions and assists shared or coordinated programmes of inspection….”, and Practice 4.6 “Inspecting bodies share their methodologies and learn from other inspecting bodies.” The Cores Standards Mapping Tool aims to help signatory bodies identify possible areas where they could align their approaches.
