Signatories have agreed that where relevant they will carry out impact assessments of major changes or new inspections.
A template in which to set out the assessment and guidance to go with has been agreed.

The Healthcare Commission published the first example of an impact assessment for health inspection alongside the Assessment for Improvement document and will be revisiting this as they progress their evaluation of the new system during 2006-7.
